• Leadville temporarily offline

Even good and new solar panels and batteries have their limits!  We’ve had 7 days of no sunshine at that site and need to disable the repeater to protect the batteries until we get a few days of sunshine to recharge them.  We’re monitoring battery status and will re-enable the repeater as soon as we can.

  • ColCon 3.0 Drive!

We “got an offer we couldn’t refuse”!  See the Upgrade Project tab above for details.

  • Akron site likely down

This site appears to be down.  It may be a PA issue only.

  • Ft. Collins and Akron issues

The Fort Collins repeater appears to be having receive sensitivity issues again.  This is a know issue, but seems to have become worse recently.  The long term fix is a second remote received-only site which is on our to do list.

  • New Repeater! Burlington

We have our newest repeater site, Burlington, CO.  This extends our I-70 coverage to almost the Kansas state line!  It uses the same frequency as Colorado Springs (145.130MHz), but is far enough away from that repeater to not cause any interference.

  • Durango back up!

We have a third ISP up and running for the Durango site, so hoping this one is a charm after having issues with the first two.  For these ISP-based sites, only time will tell if they are truly reliable or not, so please let us know!

  • Salida site down

The Salida site is down.  We have been able to remotely diagnose the issue and it is a failed PA, so will require a site visit to fix.

  • Durango getting cranky

The infrequent connectivity issues with the Durango repeater are getting more frequent.

  • Colorado Springs back online!

Power at the Almagre site is back!

  • Grand Junction and Glenwood may be intermittent

Also probably storm related, the microwave link to these repeaters is down.  We have an IP backup so they should be working, but the IP links are not quite as reliable as the microwave links.
