• Leadville fully operational!

The Leadville machine is back up and fully operational with a completely new solar power system (panels, batteries, and controllers).  The loss of microwave comms was due to both microwave radios being blown, most likely due to a lightning strike.  That restores our microwave link all the way to Grand Junction again too.

  • Removing Craig from our list

This repeater is owned and operated by a local group.  The repeater works, but the link to the Colorado Connection has been down for a couple years now.  With no known plans to restore that link, we are going to not  list it anymore, but if it does ever link up will happily relist it.

  • Salida back online!

Thanks to Mike K7AIH and Ben KC2VJW this machine is back online!  A local landowner revoked the only access to the site.  The commercial folk had to use helicopters, we had Ben and Mike that scouted and hiked an alternate route by foot.  Helicopter access wasn’t affordable, so thanks Mike and Ben.

  • Online Interference Reporting

We are streamlining our interference reporting from manual emails to a form-based system so that we can better create the database we need to build up our case with the FCC.  We’ve also added a “Live” button if you happen to be able to report in real time that will flag appropriate folk who may be able to respond in real time.  The link to the page to do this is “Interference Reporting” on the top menu bar.

  • Vail Repeater Transmitter may be down

We have one reliable report that the Vail transmitter may be down.  The receiver works fine.  We are not sure if it is completely down or just very low transmitter power.  Any reports from that repeater would be greatly appreciated.

  • Fort Collins Back online!

This repeater is back online.  We still have plans to improve the receiver performance

  • Breckenridge back online

Remodel work is done and the repeater is back!

  • Breckenridge Repeater Temporarily down

The host site for this repeater is getting remodeled, so the equipment is being disconnected temporarily.  Expectation is that the repeater will be back online some time during this coming weekend.

  • Leadville offline while recharging

The Leadville repeater has been taken off line as a preventative measure due to limited power from the solar panels.  Sunlight has been scarce for several days in a row, so batteries are low.  We hope it will be back online in a few days after some more sunshine after this past storm.
