Colorado Connection 3.0 upgrade!
We jumped on a rare chance to get a stockpile of identical repeater controllers. Being resourceful, our repeaters are a mix of whatever controllers we have been able to find, most good, some not quite so. This is a stockpile of Motorola MTR-2000 controllers which are very good and reliable. This is our chance to make the entire system much more uniform and much easier to maintain and have “spares kits” ready to go for any repeater.
While we are getting them for a great deal, it is also a lot of them! Eight immediately, with eight more possibly afterwards. This is a big expense and luckily we have a corporate sponsor willing to match donations dollar for dollar. Our goal is to reach $5,000 in donations which the company will match. That will not only cover the cost of the controllers themselves, but will also cover the interface support electronics for the controllers.

For our Colorado Springs folk: We have not forgotten you! We have the equipment all ready for the voter upgrade, but ran into some unexpected site leasing problems. We are still confident they can be resolved, but taking much longer than expected.
